Real Madrid is reportedly eyeing Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister for a future move, according to Sky Germany. The Argentine international is 27 years old and currently under contract at Anfield until 2028. José Mourinho, who is an advocate for the signing, values Mac Allister's physical presence and strength in challenges. Liverpool is expected to resist any approach for the key player, as there are no concrete plans to extend his deal at this time.

Liverpool is also building a list of potential replacements to reinforce its central midfield. The club holds Borussia Dortmund midfielder Felix Nmecha in high regard, though he is not a priority target right now. Nmecha is under contract with Dortmund until June 2030 after joining from Wolfsburg in 2023. Monaco's Lamine Camara and Bournemouth's Alex Scott are also on the shortlist, with both players having recent links to Chelsea and Manchester United.

Arsenal is interested in Monza striker Gustavo Varela, as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport. The 21-year-old Portuguese forward has scored seven goals in eight Serie A matches this season. Napoli and his former club Benfica have also shown interest. Benfica retains the right to match future offers and is entitled to 20% of the profit from his next transfer. Napoli could make a move in January to beat the competition for the player.

Manchester United remains focused on Newcastle United left back Lewis Hall, who could cost upwards of £70 million according to Football Insider. The 22-year-old recently extended his contract until 2031. United may revive its pursuit next summer, but Newcastle is set to reject any departure in January. Hall is believed to be happy at St James' Park, although he has not ruled out a future move to Old Trafford.

Bayern Munich is closely monitoring Borussia Mönchengladbach's Wael Mohya, a 17-year-old prospect. Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, and Bayer Leverkusen are also interested in the player. Gladbach wants to extend his contract beyond 2028 with a release clause included. However, his staying beyond next summer is considered unlikely if the club fails to avoid relegation. Other notable movements include Chelsea winger Jamie Gittens appearing on Roma's winter wish list and Paris Saint-Germain weighing a January swoop for Bayer Leverkusen star Ibrahim Maza.
